Every year, migratory birds come to Taiwan’s Aogu Wetland to spend the winter. It is a warm and welcoming place, with food to share and a whole flock for company.
Inky, a young cormorant, arrives with the others, ready for his first winter in Taiwan. But an accident leaves him with only one wing, and when spring comes, he cannot fly away with his friends. Season by season, Inky learns a different way to live. And a place that was only a stop along his journey slowly becomes his home. Based on a true story.
