A painter sat pondering before his blank canvas when his old master, with whom he had parted on difficult terms, arrived unexpectedly.

The film follows Arnav, an accomplished artist who is visited in his studio by his former mentor, Sharma Sir, after 12 years apart. As they converse in front of a blank canvas, old tensions resurface—Arnav shares how deeply the mentor’s past criticism weighed on him, prompting him to leave and forge his own style, while Sharma Sir reminds him that his artistic foundations came from his teachings.

Just after an emotional reconciliation where Arnav admits he always looked up to him and goes to fetch water, Arnav receives an unexpected phone call from a friend informing him that Sharma Sir had actually passed away the previous night, constantly praising Arnav as his favorite pupil until his final moments. Arnav turns back to realize the encounter was a spiritual farewell.
