After a pickpocket steals his phone on the way to work, WALTER, a burnt-out office worker adrift in Manhattan, spends his morning begging strangers for a phone, chasing a call he refuses to explain. Deli owners, coworkers, security guards, and his own boss all stand between him and the one number he needs to dial. But the closer he gets, the less it seems to matter.
