World premiere of award-winning dark comedy “Call It A Front” at Indie Short Fest live screening on July 1st

Award-winning 20-minute dark comedy “Call It A Front“, directed by Ricky Staffieri and Ben Fout (USA), has been confirmed for the lineup of the next Indie Short Fest live screening at Raleigh Studios Hollywood, on July 1st, 6pm.

The cast and crew will participate in a Q&A open to the audience after the world premiere screening.

Recipient of the Award of Excellence (Special Jury Mention) in the season of June and qualified for the 2022 Annual Awards, “Call It A Front” follow troubled brothers Rally and Junior who, when run out of hideout cash, devise a morbid plan to up their funds and stay off the grid. Shot in the deserts of Arizona e Nevada.

“Call It A Front” joins immigration drama “11.02.2020.MPLS.MN”, Hong Kong political drama “Puzzled Path” and award-winning drama on Wuhan’s coronavirus lockdown “Mother in the Mist” in this special Q&A and screening.
