“ Am I my brother’s keeper?”
This is the question at the heart of Outtabounds, a story about jealousy, sacrifice, and the tribulations of brotherhood between two Twin brothers.
Andre and Austin Little are identical twins who share a unique bond – one that existed since birth. From wearing matching outfits as children, to playing on the same sports teams as young teens, they have always been together. Where one goes, the other is sure to follow.
But what happens when life begins to drive them apart?
Now approaching the end of their senior year in high school, things are not as simple as they once were: Andre is the star of the basketball team, and one of the best players in the country. With the promise of a full-ride athletic scholarship, his future is all but secure. Austin, on the other hand, finds himself standing in his brother’s shadow for the first time in his life. Then comes the night of the party, which brings all the temptations of adolescence: girls, drugs, alcohol, and the pressure to save face in front of your peers. Things come to a frenetic head when Austin’s feelings of jealousy and resentment lead him to put his brother in harm’s way. Austin suddenly finds himself in a life-and-death situation, with Andre’s future at stake.
What would you do, if you had your brother’s fate in your hands?
