Arctic City is a ‘prison’ island where criminals are sent to serve their sentences. They can choose to get a job, make money, and have a life within the confines of this prison while paying their debt to society. The only catch, everyone is a criminal and some have committed unimaginable crimes. This is survival of the fittest, where only the strong survive. Arctic City originally opened in the 60’s as a Top Secret government experiment in an attempt to rid the world of crime. The experiment ultimately failed and Artic City was closed. Flash forward a few decades and crime is at an all time high. The World Government has decided to reopen Arctic City in order to create a Utopian Society outside of these walls. The WG’s theory, ‘lock em’ up and let them sort it out!’ Which brings us daybreak as Fox and The Rabbit discuss the day ahead as well as some underlying issues between the duo, ultimately revealing the true intentions behind the morning’s meeting.

A young woman, after the one more family mourning, is at the monumental cemetery of Verano and has a liberating dialogue, or rather a monologue, with her granny Giulia in front of her tomb. Trough her words and the images spinning in her mind, we’re plunged into a sort of parallel world, with an extremely blurring border with reality. This world is an absolutely literary one, inhabited by poetic quotes, paintings, statues of rare beauty and characters who, although missing and probably unreal, make the protagonist’s suffering more bearable.

Sequel to the award-winning neo-noir film “Rise of The Avalanche” (2017), “Rise of the Avalanche: Revenge from the Shadows” is about a gangster by the name of Alvin “Avalanche” Steele who is freed from prison and executes his plans to take back his city. Its important theme is Myanmar traditional catfish noodle “mohingar.” Young chef fights using his handmaid mohingar to revenge himself for his father’s death on big evil society which is ruling mohingar market in Myanmar by its automated technology.
