In “Teleportation [Unbound], audiences are invited into the visionary world of creator Susan Lim and her “ALAN” story—a profound lyrical inquiry into the future of AI companionship. The odyssey begins at the INK conference, where Lim’s exploration of Quantum Entanglement serves as the blueprint for a song exploring the mystery of human connection. This vision was first given life through a soulful and haunting performance by Joi Barua, whose original rendition of the song on the INK stage remains the project’s emotional touchstone.
The documentary captures the song’s prestigious evolution across two historic milestones at Abbey Road Studio One. The first chapter was written in 2019: a high-impact recording with the London Symphony Orchestra and vocalist Matthieu Eymard, which served as the emotional climax of the Lim Fantasy of Companionship global premieres across three continents.
However, the song’s journey was only beginning. The film reveals the critical transition where the work was reimagined and expanded by composer Manu Martin. By adding a new bridge and scaling the arrangement to a full-scale symphonic epic, Martin provided the architectural link between a scientific concept and a musical masterpiece.
