Why do we admire antiheroes, yet feel uncomfortable with morally ambiguous women? Reflejo Carmesí was born from that question. The short film follows Clara, a young woman whose greatest dream is to become an actress. When Rosa, the lead performer in a stage play, mysteriously disappears just minutes before opening night, Clara is given the chance to take her place. However, the arrival of Germán, the missing actress’s manager, reminds her that nothing in theatre is as simple as it seems. What begins as the opportunity of a lifetime soon turns into a dangerous confrontation, where every conversation hints at a secret and Rosa’s absence weighs heavier than any applause, forcing Clara to confront her own desires and contradictions.
