In a gallery in Berlin, strangers began sitting on the floor for hours unable to explain why they couldn’t leave. They had come to look at art. Something in the room was doing something else entirely. One woman couldn’t let the mystery go — and what she chased down would blur the line between art and medicine, built from nothing but light.
