Abby, a painfully shy college freshman, is put on the spot during a first-day icebreaker and lies that she once helped solve a murder. The lie catches the attention of Lana, a magnetic senior who draws her into a scheme to get “leverage” on her ex, Dylan, only for the night to spiral into real violence, and for Abby to lose the self she was so desperate to perform.
