In the height of Jeju’s bracken-picking season in spring, an elderly woman gathering bracken in the dense fog of Jeju’s mid-mountain region becomes separated from her granddaughter and goes missing.
A man named Nahan, who appears as though he has come to rescue her, begins to speak of the dark depths hidden within the legend of Seolmundae Halmang and the Five Hundred Generals.
Soon, the grandmother is forced to confront a horrifying truth—one where Jeju mythology and twisted human desire become violently entangled.
