Jason Pierce, a child services worker, is haunted by the drunk driving accident that claimed his wife and young daughter. He finds his walls slowly crumbling when he’s assigned to care for Megan, a tender 10-year old girl who has just lost both her parents in a strikingly similar tragedy. Guided by the quiet wisdom of his colleague Matthew, Jason must decide whether opening his heart to this little girl is too great a risk-or the one act of faith that could save them both.
