Don Abel: The Main Rooster from Yerbabuena, Jalisco, Mexico Against the World

In 1976, Don Abel, a corrupt but conflicted Mexican intelligence agent known as “El Mero Gallo” or “The Main Rooster”, is recruited by the CIA to eliminate a defecting Mexican Communist leader hiding in California. What begins as a routine mission quickly spirals into chaos, forcing Don Abel to face his own morality, ambition, and the true weight of his choices.
