Inez has everything Cape Cod money can buy at 18. She floats through this life while being pulled down by her mother’s expectations and college applications she can’t bring herself to finish. Dominick, a transplanted Southerner who is a Coast Guard airplane mechanic, isn’t looking for anything either, but when their worlds collide on the side of a highway, the pull between them leads to a story about two people giving each other just enough reason to go.
