Pomegranate

When she learns that her mother is in intensive care in Los Angeles, an Iranian-American woman in Paris must wait forty-eight hours before she can board a flight home. What follows is an inward descent — a waltz through grief and anxiety — as she slowly and devastatingly comes face to face with her own truth.
