Lucy, an 19-year-old woman, runs away from her abusive Father and finds herself at a rundown motel in Los Angeles. Finding herself alone and scared, she meets Evan and her boyfriend Kiran, who lives in the room beside hers. They become fast friends, but as they grow closer, Lucy sees that Evan is in the same abusive situation with Kiran, just as she was with her Father. Lucy must choose whether to ignore the problem or help her new friend, who reminds her so much of herself.
