In a calligraphy shop tucked into a quiet corner of Paris, Robert, a soft-spoken and introverted man, spends his days with his daughter Anna, a shy, curious and emotionally intuitive 11-year-old who often accompanies him at the shop doing her homework or being creative. Their world is one of quiet rituals and unspoken care — until Ellie, an graceful and calm woman from the street, enters their shop. She says nothing, but something about her presence lingers in the air. Robert is too shy to say a word, but Anna notices how her father lights up and she decides to act. Anna takes it upon herself to follow Ellie and find a way to reach her. Inspired by airplanes, she begins writing messages and folding them into paper planes, launching them from rooftops across the street — hoping one will land. Hoping one will be read. This is a story of searching for connection. It’s told not through dialogue, in best Disney’esque style – through gestures and glances.
