Ogygia is a story which follows a couple going on a much needed weekend escape to the seaside. Upon arrival, they make a surprising discovery: instead of renting a house, they have rented a room in a house and must now cohabitate with two other couples for the weekend. Facing internal issues, and frustration, they must also meet their new housemates. The short film centres around a pivotal lunch scene, where all six characters come together. As they engage in lighthearted conversation, hidden truths and relationship tensions surface. Laughter transforms into paranoia as first impressions take unexpected turns, leading to growing suspicion among the couples.
‘Ogygia’ balances humour with deeper insights into relationships, fear of the unknown and the chaos that ensues.
