Filthy Animal is a short narrative film set in rural China during the early 2000s. It follows Daren, a human trafficker who runs a fake dog kennel, and his 12-year-old son Chun, who begins to realize the dark truth behind his father’s business. As a buyer arrives to make a deal, the tension between survival, morality, and innocence slowly unfolds, exposing the brutal undercurrents of human nature in an isolated, decaying world.
