“Home Language” is an intimate drama exploring whether love can bridge the silent divides of language and cultural differences. Is love enough when cultural belonging remains untranslated? This film follows the lens of Song-he and Kevin, a couple coming from two distinctive language backgrounds. Despite their shared fluency in English, a “neutral third space” for their communication, their relationship becomes a battleground as they navigate family dynamics, personal expectations, and the complexities of cultural identity belongings.
