Lin Zhi is someone who’s grown used to being alone. Quiet and cautious, she keeps her emotions hidden and has never known how to ask for help. When Su Xin enters her life, light slowly begins to seep into her closed-off world. After a heated argument, the two women accidentally switch bodies. Forced to live as one another, they begin to experience the choices and pain they had never truly understood. In that dislocation and shared vulnerability, they begin to truly see each other—and, eventually, themselves.
Through The Mirror To See Her blends realism with a touch of the surreal to explore a delicate yet complex emotional bond between two women. It’s a story about loneliness and growth, and how understanding another can sometimes be the path to truly finding yourself.
