A hundred years ago, Joseph Rock visited Muli and published his work in National Geographic, making the “Jiangdie Highway” become the “Most Beautiful 100 Kilometers in China”. In 2024, the Inspiring China Tibetan Tourism series micro-documentary Boundless Road recorded Mike and Zhu Dan’s journey back to Muli. Through video comparisons of ecological changes over a century, it documents the development stories of western Sichuan.
