Indie Short Fest Announces May 2025 Award Winners

We are pleased to unveil the award winners of May 2025 edition.

This round featured a highly competitive pool, with submissions from 20 countries, totaling 31:47:53 of runtime—plus a large number of short scripts.

Submission Breakdown:

Official Selection:– 46.3%

Nominations – 36.2%

Award Winners – 25.1% (including Outstanding Achievement Awards and Honorable Mentions)

Path to the Annual Awards

All nominated and award-winning projects from this monthly round are now in contention for the Annual Awards.

The annual shortlist is drawn from the 12 monthly qualifying seasons of the current cycle, running September 2024 through September 2025.

All annual nominees will be screened during the 2025/2026 Annual Awards event, scheduled for Spring 2026 at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles.

This is the 8th monthly qualifying season of the current annual cycle.
