In the labyrinth of her fading consciousness, an old grandmother manifests as a fearless tiny creature. Drawn by a monstrous roar that shakes her surreal realm — unknowingly the muffled cries of her family in reality — she shapeshifts into excavators, dinosaurs, and cannons, all born from her grandson’s wall doodles.
Through ferocious metamorphic battles against imagined terrors, each victory allows but a whimper to escape her withered lips in the real world. These spectral struggles clash poignantly with sunlit scenes of her family’s mundane routines, where gentle care is offered through thermos flasks and half-heard conversations.
