Love Letter

An amateur actor who had moved to New York to follow his passion has slowly found that his dream may either have been too ambitious or slower than he imagined. In an effort to find his spark again he takes a vacation back to his hometown, Las Vegas. He stays with his best friend who also loves musical theater and she plays a song that reminds him of his old days in community theater. He later looks up the theater that he first performed on and decides that he needs to stand on the stage to find his passion. He asks his best friend to help him with a heist-style break-in to get into the theater. Once he hits the stage he slowly feels the dream come back to him and he begins to dance, with pieces in homage to Fosse, Gene Kelly, Sondheim, and contemporary musical theater. It ends with the main character taking a bow and his friend cheering him on.

Directed by Rowan Johns (USA)
