

Amid Jakarta’s 1998 crisis, Asiung, a convenience store owner, struggles to save his pregnant wife, Linda, who is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. With no insurance and financial hardship, Asiung sacrifices everything, including his cherished possessions, but a riot destroys his store. As Linda’s condition worsens, Asiung faces a heartbreaking decision that leaves him devastated. Ultimately, he finds solace in helping a young boy, embodying the resilience of the human spirit amid overwhelming adversity.
