The Odd Double

The Odd Double

After breaking up with his girlfriend and tired of sharing a bunk-bed with his would-be stepson, Oscar, reluctantly accepts an offer to move in with his childhood friend Felix and his mysterious roommate, enticed by a three-way rent split. On move-in day, Felix reveals that his roommate is actually genetic clone of himself. In his mind, this technicality entitles him and his “Number-Two”, to a 50/50 split on the rent with Oscar. Despite the bait n’ switch, Oscar decides that the unfairness of the arrangement is still better than the alternative; moving back in with Felicia. Oscar’s neurotic, type-A, neat-freak personality seems diametrically opposed to Felix’s care-free, disorganized lifestyle. Adding Felix’s “Number-Two” into the mix and Oscar seems outnumbered in every roommate debate. Making matters worse, nobody understands the mysterious circumstances in which Felix was able to clone himself. When confronted with the questions, Felix’s answer is always the same; “Oh, my boy Carlos De Oakland hooked a brotha up”.
