Renowned horror actress Eileen Dietz, best known for her role as the face of the demon Pazuzu in The Exorcist, will be a guest speaker at the Indie Short Fest 2025 Annual Awards Q&A panel alongside Michael Raymond-James and Marko Bosanac.
Eileen Dietz has been confirmed as guest speaker for the Q&A panel at the Indie Short Fest 2025 Annual Awards, joining actor and director Michael Raymond-James and Belgrade-based animator Marko Bosanac.

Eileen Dietz is best known for her uncredited but iconic role in The Exorcist (1973), where she portrayed the face of the demon Pazuzu, as well as performing some of the more disturbing scenes in place of Linda Blair.
Though Linda Blair played Regan MacNeil, the possessed girl, Dietz was used for certain terrifying moments, including the subliminal flashes of Pazuzu’s face and some of the more intense possession scenes, such as vomiting and other disturbing physical effects. Despite her significant contribution, her face never explicitly appears in a major credited role, making her an eternal horror icon whose identity remained hidden behind the scenes for many years.

Beyond The Exorcist, Eileen has had a long career in film and television, appearing in soap operas like General Hospital and horror films such as Halloween II (2009) and Constantine (2005). She has continued to be active in the horror genre, attending conventions and embracing her status as a cult horror icon.
Eileen Dietz received a nomination from Indie Short Fest for Best Supporting Actress of the Year for her performance in Rem Scobell’s horror short Beverly Hills Exorcist, once again embodying the chilling presence of a demon.
The film will be screened in Block 9 at Cinema #14 at 11:00 AM.
The Q&A is set for 4.55 PM at Cinema #14. A great opportunity to audience engage with industry professionals and gain insight into storytelling, acting, and independent filmmaking.
