Inspired by Michael Ende’s surrealist tale, Shortcut to Destiny follows a young groom who, guided by a mysterious figure, crosses the “midday room”—an endless desert marked by a colossal door, behind which his bride awaits. But when he arrives, something is not as she expected. Desperate to find him, she embarks on the same journey, unaware of what lies ahead. In a desert where time twists and destiny is inevitable, their paths are forever intertwined.
