Don Wallace’s future as a lawyer at his dad’s firm, laid out for him by his controlling father, sends Don down a path of self-reflection and self-destruction. His coping mechanisms, including an expensive drug addiction, as well as more dangerous thrill-seeking habits, lead him to confront powerful drug dealers determined to see that Don’s future ends before it even begins.
