Natives of the Safari, Maasai tribes live on their cattle. In a traditional Maasai family, a man can have many wives. His wealth is measured by the number of cattle, wives, and children he owns. The surrounding world is changing, and so is the Maasai world.
Tisa is the oldest child of the family. She has many brothers and sisters. Tisa does housework and cares for her siblings. Her dream is to become a doctor so that she can help other people. Tisa’s home is far away from school. She and other children from the tribe walk to school every day. School is the only way for the children to change the course of their lives and reach their dream.
