“Who Is Charlie?” is a documentary set in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, that delves into the dark past of an apparently ordinary man. In 2006, an American teacher named Charlie enters the lives of the Camacho family, offering a summer English course. However, after a series of alarming behaviors, what begins as a family summer with high expectations turns into an obsessive quest for answers about Charlie’s true identity, as he hides dark secrets that threaten the safety and well-being of those around him.
