Tree

<Tree> is an art film based on a series of “Tree Paintings” by Korean realist artist Kim Kyong-yeoul, who presents a variety of paintings from the mid-1980s to the present, showing an original world of works.

This film is not made from images generated by the AI platform. This film was produced by converting the actual oil painting work of artist Kim Kyung-ryul into digital data and expanding it into moving images in an AI video program. In other words, it extensively explored the world of his work and aesthetic ideals using AI technology.

The directing concept of “Tree” is a mysterious sensibility with a calm and warm feeling. I tried to capture the artist’s artwork and artistic philosophy in the video through poetic imagetelling. His paintings are on canvas cloth, but the artistry of his work gives a great resonance to our spiritual world.
