The film focuses on three groups of people living alongside the Yangtze River in Anhui Province, China. Over the past three years, the implementation of the Yangtze River fishing ban policy has changed their work and life a lot. Whether actively or passively, they built an inseparable relationship with the Yangtze River. Their myriad emotions—joy, confusion, persistence, frustration, and more—may all rush eastward together with the Yangtze River into the sea.
