When a 9-year-old Diana needs a mother for her school’s Parent’s Day, she turns to Kitty, a stripper she’s never met before.

Filmmakers’ Note:
Our biggest goal in producing “Kitty,” a story about unlikely connections and found family, was to push the importance of empathy. We’re aware that the themes and character work we present in “Kitty” are ones that have widely been explored. In praise of any other works that engage in similar themes, some of which even share a very similar premise to “Kitty,” we feel grateful to be continuing the conversation on the various forms compassion and connection can take.

Directed by Maiki Kayo (USA)
