Fresh Green on the Grave

In 2009, freshly released from prison, Boss Zhang revisits a small grocery store in search of his old haunt, a wild mutton soup restaurant. There, he encounters an elderly woman mourning her lost family, whom he unknowingly killed years earlier. After a poignant exchange, the woman, seeking revenge, poisons alcohol intended for Zhang. He unwittingly consumes it and dies in his car, just as the woman, solemnly burning paper money at the grave, realizes her act of vengeance has been fulfilled.
