Vintage Los Angeles buildings and signs come back to life, thanks to a time machine device, against the dreamy backdrop of shoegaze space rock music.
Demolished LA landmarks such as The Satellite & Happy/Sad foot sign (in Silver Lake), and Amoeba Music (in Hollywood) are brought back from the dead in Modern Time Machines’ music video, which was a decade in the making.
Actor Charles Phoenix (Kitsch King of LA and beloved author/historian) guest stars as a Time Machine Supplies salesman, and Happy Hollows lead singer Sarah Negahdari (ex-Silversun Pickups) plays herself.
Directed by Ben Golomb (USA)
