In a quaint 1950s record shop on an unassuming day, it is announced over the radio that Jazz legend Hoagy Carmichael has died, which leads to a violent bidding war over the last Hoagy album in the shop’s possession. Richard, a loyal employee in his early 20s, tries to protect the album and the store as the patrons fight like animals over the last record.
