John’s Ultimate Illusion follows the story of John Kippen, a performer at the Magic Castle, as he prepares for his TED Talk. In the film, John recalls his childhood, his early love of magic and most importantly, the brain tumor that changed his life forever. The procedure that removed the tumor caused facial paralysis and permanent hearing damage. While the depths of depression, he discovered magic again and began an inspiration journey that led him to being one of the top performers at the Magic Castle. Through his charisma and positivity, John uses his impairments to inspire others to overcome their challenges.
