Martin, a fifty year-old immigrant, is working as a janitor in an art gallery. He leads a simple life, living
off of microwave meals and bland sandwiches. He is a quiet man, who prefers to keep his head
down and avoid confrontation.
When asked to live model for Cass, a young art teacher who works in the gallery, Martin hesitantly agrees. The experience initially overwhelms him, but when he sees how the artists have
portrayed him he is forced to see himself in a completely different way.
Finding a new sense of worth he slowly begins to lift his head up and meet the world.
