With his job on the line and no leads to follow, Chinese police officer Sung Wah is forced to revisit an old case from 2 years ago, where his failure led to the escape of architect-turned-fugitive Wong Fei. Throughout his investigation, new faces are introduced, old faces return, and complex moral nuances are investigated. In between the action and dialogue, the duality of Sung Wah and Wong Fei’s relationship is further explored, as they both question how much time they truly have left.
