Echoes

“Echoes” is a drama centered on Tariq Edwards, a Border Patrol agent, and his encounter with Wei Gao and his son, Xiao’ou, in a Texas detention center. Tariq, instructed to maintain professional detachment, faces a moral quandary when tasked with informing the Gaos about their imminent separation due to their asylum request denial. The emotional crux arrives when Wei, in desperation, offers Tariq a bracelet, mirroring one Tariq has for his own daughter.
