The story of two distant, grief-stricken individuals, one looking for a beginning, and the other looking for an end. It is the story of Jim and Marcus. Jim is a wealthy businessman on Wall Street, lost beneath the superficial waves of material and social gains, searching for meaning following the death of his unknown brother. Marcus is an artist, bred from the streets of Brooklyn, searching for answers through lies and layers of society following the death of his father. Every day, Jim leaves work and travels 18 minutes to the Manhattan Bridge, where he hopes to find the strength to take his own life. Every day, Marcus sits at the same bench, contemplating life and wondering where to take his own. They both struggle to find strength and battle weakness in their own ways. The two cross paths in multiple unforeseen yet obvious ways, allowing fate to open the door to save one another.
