In an effort for quick cash, a young woman, FIONA, participates in a memory-enhancing clinical trial. The experimental drug unearths old memories Fiona would have instead left forgotten. Getting ready with a friend, a night out on the town, flirting with a guy… all leading to a memory of Fiona’s assault. When she returns home that evening, she continues to be tormented by the flashbacks. At the next session, Fiona confides in a RESEARCHER and pleads to be let out of the trial early. However, the Researcher warns her she will not receive any compensation if she drops out. The Researcher also notes that the drug effects do not last that long- it is not the source of Fiona’s intense memories. Fiona decides to take the drug again and confront her memories rather than repress them.
