Born Sinner is a short film centered around the troubled life of a fentanyl-addicted teenager, Terrel (Mark McNeil II.), up until he receives his first prison visit from his parents. Despite his plead for innocence, Terrel is now faced with the effects of his addiction while grappling with the harsh reality that he may serve the bulk of his life behind bars. Through flashbacks of Terrel’s final days outside of prison, we gradually unravel the circumstances surrounding his eventual arrest. In the end, Terrel is urged by his parents to confront the disease of addiction before it causes his ultimate demise.
