A scientist at Yale, Joan Ongchoco, and an artist at Penn, Cynthia Zhou explore the gap between hallucinations and reality through the grid. In the course of their work, these women collide through their mutual love for Agnes Martin, and show how a simple grid can challenge our conceptions of who experiences hallucinations.
