As a child who grew up in Inner Mongolia, I have always wanted to learn about the culture and history of my hometown. As an international student studying in the US, one of my dreams is to show the “treasures” hidden in my hometown to friends, teachers, and classmates around me. This summer, I finally got the chance.

A year ago, I began conceptualizing this documentary. This summer, I spent a month and a half turning my imagination into reality. I poured all my passion and effort into this documentary. My love for my hometown and my respect for the nomadic people’s efforts in preserving nature and culture are apparent in every second of these fifteen minutes. Now, carrying the responsibility of spreading the culture and history of the Urad Mongols in Inner Mongolia, I share this documentary with you.
