Telescope

Telescope is a manifestation of unrequited love. Within the context of a fleeting summer romance, the film guides the viewer through the beautifully futile glimpses into the moments shared by Theo and Finn, as they unearth the consuming emotions that draw them together. Narrated from Theo’s perspective, a blend of expressionist and surreal imagery fuses with the tangible, serving as a physical embodiment of his internal state. . The film illustrates Theo’s gradual realization of the impossibility of satisfying his love for Finn, leaving him to observe from a distance what he cannot attain—much like a telescope itself.
