This music video is about Jalaluddin Manguberdi, the king of Khorezm Empire, who lived in Central Asia in the 13th century Jalaluddin, who ascended to the throne at the age of 21, embarked on a valiant fight against the Mongol army that invaded his country.
Despite being severely outnumbered, he won several battles against the Mongol army thanks to his bravery and military prowess. Jalaluddin Manguberdi is the military leader who led the greatest resistance for 10 years against Genghis Khan’s army, which occupied half of the known world at the time.
This music video depicts the real events – the biggest battle on the river Sindh, which was fought against the Mongols by Jalaluddin Manguberdi. Realizing that the forces were not equal in this battle, Jalaluddin preferred to drown his family in the river rather than being captive in the hands of the merciless Mongols. Then He jumped into the water with his horse. Admired by his bravery, Genghis Khan orders ceasefire, and admits that “a real son worthy of his father should be like this”.
Today, Jalaluddin Manguberdi is considered one of the national heroes of Uzbekistan.
