The Snow Is Always Whiter tells the story of Khulan Batbold, a rising New York fashionista at the top of her game but trapped in an abusive relationship with her artist fiancé Kyle Glatt. When Kyle misses their lunch date, suspicion of his relapse mounts, and a turbulent clash that evening sets in motion an elaborate plan for her escape. With nowhere left to turn, Khulan sacrifices it all to secretly return home to Mongolia.
